The Northern Lights Festival has a "No Refunds" Policy. This is to ensure the festival provides the best possible experience for those attending.

If you cannot attend the festival, your ticket will be honoured for one year.

What to wear: It is best to keep dry and active. It is also important to have the following items of clothing due to the extreme temperature changes that can occur:

A warm hat, like a toque

A warm jacket

Winter boots

Mittens or gloves

A scarf or neck warmer

Snow pants or a snow suit

Sweater

Average temperatures for the last three years ranged from a Day Time Hight of +10 C to a Night Time Low of -15 C.

You can book a flight directly to Fort Nelson, or Fort St. John and then drive North (4 hours) with a rented car. We recomend that you book a ticket direct to Fort Nelson.

CMA is the only airline that flies into Fort Nelson.

The Festival will be taking place all throughout the town, upon arrival you will be given a welcome package with detailed instructions.

Important - Bring Canadian cash with you for smaller purchases.

All vendors at the festival will accept cash. Credit and debit cards will be accepted by the larger establishments, and businesses.

Expect some places to ONLY accept cash. There are ATM's located throughout the festival, including in the Recreation Centre.

Festival Maps are included in your festival registration. Please head to registration upon arrival, during registration hours, to pick up your festival package.
